Zest Education is looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of schools in Leicester from September 2025. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy variety, want flexibility, and are keen to gain experience in different classroom settings while supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Assist pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Adapt quickly to new classrooms, routines, and teaching styles
Support with behaviour management and general classroom duties
Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
✅ Experience working with children in a school or similar environment
✅ Flexible and able to work across different schools and year groups
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ Positive and proactive attitude
✅ Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
✅ Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training (can be arranged)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
