📅 Start Date: September 2025 – Until End of October Half Term (with potential for extension)

Zest Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the Burntwood area, and we are looking to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support in the classroom from September until the end of the October half term, with the possibility of an extension.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils to engage in their learning. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting small groups or individual pupils with their learning activities.

  • Assisting the teacher with classroom management and preparation of resources.

  • Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, ensuring they are fully integrated into the class.

  • Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and development.

This role would suit someone who is confident, patient, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred) or equivalent.

  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting.

  • A genuine interest in child development and education.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

  • Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
