Zest Education is looking for a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support learning in a thriving secondary school in Nottingham from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects
Provide targeted help to students, including small group work and 1:1 support
Assist in preparing and organising classroom resources
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to track progress and support individual needs
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
✅ Experience working with secondary-aged students (in school, youth work, or similar)
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
✅ Flexible and able to adapt to different subjects and year groups
✅ Ability to support students with a variety of learning needs
✅ Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training (can be arranged)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
