Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in Leicester from September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with pupils and teachers, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Support teaching and learning across the classroom
Provide small group interventions and 1:1 support when required
Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Encourage and motivate pupils to stay engaged with learning
Help to create an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment for all children
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track pupil progress
✅ Previous experience working with children (school, tutoring, or youth work setting)
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
✅ Ability to support children of varying abilities and needs
✅ Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training (can be arranged)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
