Zest Education is working in partnership with a small, welcoming school in Warwickshire to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant with a focus on SEN support. As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
Providing 1:1 and small group support for children, including those with SEN such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
Tailoring resources and approaches to suit individual learning styles.
Supporting children with their social and emotional development.
Helping to prepare learning materials, manage behaviour positively, and create a safe and stimulating classroom.
Working hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Previous experience working with children and ideally supporting SEN pupils.
A patient, empathetic, and encouraging nature.
Good communication skills to engage effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
Flexibility and creativity in adapting learning for different needs.
A strong commitment to helping children achieve their goals.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
