Zest Education is working with a school in Coventry to recruit an experienced and highly organised School Business Manager from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in the smooth running of a school environment.
Oversee the school’s financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation
Manage HR processes, including recruitment, contracts, and staff wellbeing
Lead on health & safety, premises management, and compliance across the school
Support the Headteacher and Governors with strategic planning and reporting
Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and contractors
Ensure efficient administration systems are in place to support teaching and learning
✅ Previous experience as a School Business Manager (or similar role in finance/operations within education)
✅ Strong financial management and budget planning skills
✅ Knowledge of HR, safeguarding, and health & safety compliance
✅ Excellent organisational and leadership skills
✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✅ Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training (can be arranged)
