Zest Education is recruiting passionate and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs across primary schools in Coventry and Warwickshire from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining long-term experience in a supportive school environment.
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN (including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs)
Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement strategies from pupils’ EHCPs
Adapt learning activities and resources to meet pupils’ individual needs
Encourage social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing setting
Support classroom management and contribute to an inclusive learning environment
✅ Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting
✅ Patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
✅ Ability to adapt quickly to different classes and year groups
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
