Primary Teacher – Lichfield – October Start

Location: Lichfield
Start Date: October 2025
Duration: Until the end of the Autumn Term (with the possibility of extension)
Salary: Competitive daily rate

Zest Education are currently seeking a qualified teacher to join a lovely primary school from October 2025 until the end of the Autumn term, with the potential for extension into the Spring term and beyond.

The Role:

This is a full-time class teacher position. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a KS1 or KS2 class (year group to be confirmed based on experience and school need).
There is no planning required for this role – all schemes of work and resources will be provided. Your main focus will be on delivering high-quality teaching, managing the classroom, and supporting pupil progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent teaching experience in a primary setting

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

  • A flexible and proactive approach to teaching

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
