Zest Education is recruiting reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to join schools in Wolverhampton from September 2025. This is a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, toilets, corridors, and communal areas
Ensure all areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
Safely use cleaning equipment and materials in line with health & safety guidelines
Work independently or as part of a wider cleaning team to meet schedules
Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
✅ Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial setting desirable)
✅ Reliable, punctual, and able to work to a high standard
✅ Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety procedures (training can be provided)
✅ Ability to work flexibly either before or after school hours
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
