Zest Education is looking for caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisors to work in schools across Birmingham from September 2025. This is a fantastic part-time role for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to support their wellbeing in a school setting.
Supervise children in the dining hall, playground, and classroom areas during lunch breaks
Encourage safe, positive play and help organise fun lunchtime activities
Support pupils with meals, ensuring safety and good behaviour
Promote inclusion, kindness, and respect among all pupils
Deal with minor incidents or first aid (training can be provided)
Work with school staff to ensure a safe and happy lunchtime environment
✅ Experience working with children (schools, childcare, youth work etc.)
✅ Friendly, patient, and approachable
✅ Good communication and behaviour management skills
✅ Reliable and flexible with part-time hours
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
