Zest Education is currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Lichfield and the surrounding areas on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain more classroom experience, work flexibly in education, or support young learners in their academic and personal development.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils throughout the school day. Your role may include:
Assisting in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
Supporting individual pupils or small groups with their learning
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions
Preparing resources and helping to set up learning areas
Supporting pupils with additional needs or learning difficulties
Providing feedback to teachers and contributing to pupil progress reports
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) – preferred
Recent experience in a primary school setting
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good organisational skills and a flexible attitude
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child welfare procedures

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
