Zest Education is looking to recruit passionate and adaptable Primary SEN Teachers to work on a supply basis across schools in Coventry from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a real difference in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons for pupils with SEN needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language)
Adapt planning and resources to suit the individual needs of pupils
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and SENCOs to support learning
Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Manage behaviour positively and in line with school policies
Provide feedback on pupil progress at the end of each day/session
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, SCITT etc.)
✅ Experience teaching pupils with SEN in primary schools
✅ Flexible and adaptable to work in different school environments
✅ Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a child-centred approach
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
