🌟 Nursery Nurse – Tamworth | Immediate Start until December 2025 (Possible Extension) 🌟
Location: Tamworth | Role Type: Full-Time | Start Date: ASAP 

Zest Education is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming nursery setting in the Tamworth area that is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join their team as soon as possible. This role will run until the end of December 2025, with the possibility of extension into the new year for the right candidate.

You’ll be working alongside experienced staff who are committed to maintaining high standards of care and education.

👶 The Role:

As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development through structured play, planned activities, and responsive care. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years

  • Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

  • Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress

  • Encouraging children’s independence, creativity, and curiosity

✅ The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and proactive in their approach to early years education. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (preferred)

  • Previous experience working with children

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A nurturing and patient nature

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child development

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
