Location: Swadlincote | Role Type: Full-Time | Start Date: ASAP 

Zest Education is delighted to be working with a fantastic nursery setting in Swadlincote that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their team. This position is to start immediately and will run until the end of December 2025, with the potential for extension beyond this date.

👶 The Role:

As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the early development of children through engaging play, structured learning activities, and day-to-day care routines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

• Supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children

• Creating a warm, nurturing environment that promotes learning and wellbeing

• Monitoring and recording children’s progress

• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

✅ The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with young children and a proactive, positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) – preferred

• Previous experience working with children

• Strong knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic personality
