Start Date: ASAP
End Date: December 2025 (with potential for extension)
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire
Pay: Competitive daily rate
Contract Type: Full-time (Fixed Term)

Zest Education is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Cannock to recruit a passionate and motivated Class Teacher. This position will begin in October 2025, continuing through to the end of the Autumn term, with a strong possibility of extension into the new year.

🎓 About the Role

The successful candidate will take on full class teacher responsibilities within either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and preference. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, tracking pupil progress, and maintaining high expectations for both learning and behaviour.

You’ll also be expected to contribute to school life, including participating in meetings, supporting school events, and collaborating with colleagues and parents.

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching in a UK primary school setting

  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Be reflective, flexible, and a strong team player
