Zest Education is looking to appoint a professional and well-organised Administrator to join a welcoming school in Stoke-on-Trent from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a busy school office and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to staff and leadership teams
Manage reception duties including answering calls, greeting visitors, and handling enquiries
Maintain accurate pupil records using SIMS / Arbor (training can be provided)
Support with attendance, admissions, and reporting
Assist with school communications, including letters, newsletters, and emails
Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality, and GDPR standards are always upheld
✅ Previous administration experience (school office experience desirable)
✅ Knowledge of SIMS / Arbor or similar school systems (preferred)
✅ Strong IT and organisational skills
✅ Professional communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
