Job Description

Contract type: Long-term

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm

Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon

Job Role: KS1 Primary Teacher

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s development.
  • Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing feedback to ensure individual learning goals are met.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupils effectively.
  • Implement strategies to manage behaviour positively and foster a love of learning.

Requirements for the Role

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching with children in a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting children’s individual needs.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one through Zest Education).
