Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

In this role, you will provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils across a range of abilities, while supporting children with additional needs by adapting approaches to meet their individual learning requirements. You will contribute to pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development and work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to deliver tailored support. A key part of the role is upholding safeguarding responsibilities and prioritising the wellbeing of all pupils at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have some experience working with children or vulnerable adults, with school-based experience being particularly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with patience, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude. An enhanced DBS check registered on the update service is required, or you must be willing to apply for one through Zest Education.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
