Year 1 Teacher – Exciting New Opportunity in Stoke-On-Trent
Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Start Date: October 2025 ASAP
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience £125-£180 per day
Zest Education is delighted to be working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in Stoke-On-Trent to recruit a passionate Year 1 Teacher. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to make a real difference at a key stage in children’s learning.
The school prides itself on its nurturing environment and is looking for a teacher who can bring creativity, energy and commitment to the classroom. You will play a vital role in helping pupils transition smoothly into Key Stage 1, ensuring they feel inspired, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
In this role, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupils’ progress.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, embracing its ethos and values.
The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with experience in Key Stage 1 being desirable. Above all, we are seeking someone with a positive attitude, excellent classroom management skills and a genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
