Start Date: October 2025 ASAP
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience £125-£180 per day

Zest Education is delighted to be working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in Stoke-On-Trent to recruit a passionate Year 2 Teacher. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to guide pupils through their final year of Key Stage 1, helping them build the confidence and skills needed for a smooth transition into Key Stage 2.

The school has a warm and inclusive ethos and is looking for a teacher who can bring creativity, energy and a nurturing approach to the classroom. As the Year 2 Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting pupils through their end of Key Stage assessments, ensuring they feel motivated, encouraged and well-prepared for the next stage of their education.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Foster a supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued and able to thrive.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support both academic progress and personal development.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values and ethos.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ideally have experience teaching within Key Stage 1. A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum, excellent classroom management skills and a positive, enthusiastic approach are key to success in this role.

In return, you will be joining a school with a caring and collaborative team, strong leadership and excellent opportunities for professional growth. This is an exciting chance to make a meaningful impact on pupils at a crucial stage in their education.
