Year 5 Teacher – Exciting New Opportunity in Stoke-On-Trent
Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Start Date: October 2025 (ASAP)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Zest Education is delighted to be working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stoke-On-Trent to recruit a passionate Year 5 Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to inspire pupils as they progress through the later years of Key Stage 2.
The school is proud of its inclusive and nurturing ethos and is looking for a teacher who can bring creativity, energy and commitment to the role. As the Year 5 Teacher, you will play a key part in preparing pupils for the challenges of Year 6 and beyond, helping them to grow in confidence, resilience and independence.
In this role, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate pupils across the curriculum.
Create a positive, supportive classroom environment where children feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure pupils’ progress both academically and personally.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, embracing its values and ethos.
The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching within Key Stage 2. Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire and engage learners are essential qualities for this position.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
