Job Description

Year 6 Teacher – Exciting New Opportunity in Stoke-On-Trent
Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Start Date: October 2025 (ASAP)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Zest Education is proud to be working closely with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Stoke-On-Trent to recruit a passionate Year 6 Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and skilled educator to guide pupils through their final year of primary school and prepare them for the transition to secondary education.

The school prides itself on creating a supportive and inspiring environment where children are encouraged to achieve their best. As the Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping pupils succeed academically while also building their confidence, resilience and independence. You will lead them through the end of Key Stage 2 assessments with a calm, focused and motivating approach, ensuring they are fully prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils and support their progress.

  • Create a positive and structured classroom environment where every child feels motivated to succeed.

  • Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support children’s academic and emotional development.

  • Contribute to the wider school community, embracing its ethos and values.

To be considered for this position, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 is highly desirable, particularly in Year 6, along with excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the drive, enthusiasm and commitment to help pupils thrive during this crucial stage of their education.

In return, you will be joining a school that values both its staff and pupils, offering a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development. This is a rewarding chance to make a real impact at a pivotal moment in pupils’ lives.
