Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming nursery based in Cannock, seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team from October half term through to the end of the Autumn term.

The early years provision is thoughtfully designed to encourage independence, curiosity, and emotional development. 👶 About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, your role will be central to creating a positive early learning experience for children aged 3–5. Working alongside experienced staff, you will help provide a high standard of care and education by:

  • Supporting children’s learning and development through planned and purposeful play
  • Assisting with daily routines including personal care, mealtimes, and outdoor activities
  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of engaging activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Observing and recording children’s progress to inform future planning
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times

⭐ Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Level 3 qualified in Childcare or Early Years Education (preferred)
  • Experienced working in a primary school or early years setting
  • Confident supporting children with a range of needs and developmental stages
  • Can create a positive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
