Start Date: ASAP | Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term | Days: Mon-Fri

Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Providing one-to-one or small-group support to pupils, ensuring every child reaches their potential.
• Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
• Encouraging pupil independence and promoting positive behaviour across the school.
• Contributing to assessment and record-keeping as directed by the teacher.

Requirements
• Relevant experience working with primary-aged children (school or childcare setting preferred).
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Supporting students with SEND— experience in this area is highly desirable.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
