Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Lichfield, who are looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role is for 3 days per week, continuing until December 2025, with the possibility of being extended.

About the Role

As a part-time Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the school — this could be in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on the school’s needs and your experience. Your duties may include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils

  • Assisting the class teacher in lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Supporting pupils with additional or special educational needs

  • Helping to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment

  • Contributing to the planning and preparation of classroom activities

  • Monitoring pupil progress and encouraging positive behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
✅ Previous experience in a primary school environment

✅ An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
