Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary Schools across Stafford
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary opportunities available
Salary: Dependent on experience and role
About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools across Stafford. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about supporting children in their early stages of education, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Work with pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support learning.
Assist in creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
Help with classroom organisation, resources, and day-to-day tasks.
Encourage children’s social and emotional development through positive interaction and support.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to support different age groups across the primary phase (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or childcare) is desirable but not essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
