Zest Education is looking to recruit reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to join schools across Walsall. This is a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas to a high standard
Clean toilets, washrooms, and replenish supplies
Empty bins and manage waste according to school procedures
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors and surfaces
Follow health & safety and safeguarding guidelines at all times
Report maintenance or safety issues to site management
✅ Previous cleaning experience (school, office, or commercial environment preferred)
✅ Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
✅ Able to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Knowledge of health & safety procedures (training provided if needed)
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
