Roles and responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS1 pupils
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support learning and development
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL
- Foster positive behaviour, mutual respect, and a love of learning across the classroom
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A nurturing, enthusiastic, and reflective approach to teaching
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
