🌟 Nursery Practitioner – Lichfield – Immediate Start (Post October Half Term) 🌟

Contract: Until December 2025 (Potential for Extension)
Are you a passionate and experienced Nursery Practitioner looking for a fulfilling new role in a supportive and vibrant early years setting? Zest Education is proud to be working alongside a brilliant nursery in Lichfield, seeking a dedicated individual to join their team from after the October half term until the end of December 2025, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity.
Located in the heart of Lichfield, this welcoming and well-resourced nursery is part of a wider school community that prides itself on delivering a nurturing and stimulating environment for its children. The staff are experienced, friendly, and passionate about early childhood development, creating a safe and engaging space where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
The nursery follows a child-centred approach, valuing play-based learning and encouraging exploration, creativity, and independence.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
Work closely with the room leader and wider team to support the daily routine
Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
Monitor and record the development of children in line with the EYFS framework
Support children with additional needs where required
Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
This can be a full-time or part-time role, ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to making a positive impact in the early years setting.
We are looking for a motivated and caring individual who has:
A Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)
Recent experience working with children
A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early years education
Strong behaviour management and safeguarding knowledge

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
