🌟 Nursery Practitioner – Lichfield – Immediate Start (Post October Half Term) 🌟

Location: Lichfield
Start Date: After October Half Term 2025
Contract: Until December 2025 (Potential for Extension)

Are you a passionate and experienced Nursery Practitioner looking for a fulfilling new role in a supportive and vibrant early years setting? Zest Education is proud to be working alongside a brilliant nursery in Lichfield, seeking a dedicated individual to join their team from after the October half term until the end of December 2025, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity.

👩‍🏫 About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Work closely with the room leader and wider team to support the daily routine

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment

  • Monitor and record the development of children in line with the EYFS framework

  • Support children with additional needs where required

  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

This can be a full-time or part-time role, ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to making a positive impact in the early years setting.


✅ The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a motivated and caring individual who has:

  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)

  • Recent experience working with children

  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early years education

  • Strong behaviour management and safeguarding knowledge

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
