🌟 Nursery Practitioner – Cannock – Start After October Half Term 🌟

Location: Cannock
Start Date: After October Half Term 2025
Contract: Until December 2025 (with potential for extension)

Are you an experienced and passionate Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity in a nurturing and welcoming early years environment? Zest Education is delighted to be working with a fantastic nursery setting in Cannock that is seeking a dedicated practitioner to join their team after the October half term until the end of December 2025, with the possibility of this role being extended.

👩‍🏫 About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the room leader in daily routines and activities

  • Delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

  • Providing emotional and educational support to children

  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Observing and recording children’s progress

  • Liaising with parents and carers, building strong relationships

This can be a full-time or part-time role ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about giving children the best start in life.


✅ The Ideal Candidate

The nursery is looking for someone who has:

  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)

  • Previous experience working with children

  • A good working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach to working with young children

  • Confidence in behaviour management and safeguarding practices

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
