Whether you’re a recent graduate, have experience supporting children in another setting, or personal experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN), this is an excellent opportunity to begin — or further develop — your career in education.
As part of the programme, you’ll gain hands-on experience working as a Trainee Teaching Assistant across a range of primary schools in Hammersmith and Fulham.
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers to support pupils in their learning and development across a range of subjects and age groups. You’ll help create a positive, inclusive learning environment, provide one-to-one or small-group support, and assist with classroom activities and resources.
Hours: 08:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
Placements in primary schools across Hammersmith and Fulham
Flexible or long-term placements to suit your availability
Full online training provided before you start your placement
Once your training is complete and background checks are cleared, our team will help match you with a suitable school placement.
A passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
Reliable, positive, and patient individuals
Experience working with or caring for children (professional or personal)
A genuine interest in SEN and inclusive education
Willingness to complete required online training
Commitment to obtaining an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
