Zest Education is proud to be working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Swadlincote that is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from November 2025 until the end of term in December 2025, with the chance to continue in the new year.
This lovely Swadlincote primary school has a warm, community feel and a strong focus on inclusion and creativity. The staff work closely together to create a positive, engaging learning environment where children feel happy, supported, and confident to succeed.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the teacher and pupils in the classroom. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supporting the class teacher with lessons and activities.
Working with small groups or individual children to help them reach their learning goals.
Offering extra help to pupils with additional needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour and a love of learning.
Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation.

We’re looking for someone who is:
Level 3 qualified (preferred).
Experienced in working with children in a school or childcare setting.
Kind, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting learning.
Able to communicate well and work effectively as part of a team.
Positive, reliable, and ready to make a difference.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
