Zest Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Lichfield, who are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This role will begin as soon as possible and will run until the end of the spring term, with the potential for further opportunities beyond this.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and pupils throughout the school day. You’ll assist in delivering engaging lessons, help manage classroom activities, and provide tailored support to ensure every child can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
Working with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Assisting with classroom organisation and resource preparation
Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and wellbeing

We are looking for someone who is:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare
Experienced in working with primary-aged children
Patient, positive, and proactive in their approach
Able to adapt to the needs of individual learners
A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills
Passionate about supporting children to achieve their best
