  • Location: Bedworth/ Contract: Long-Time / Age: Year 1 / Days: Mon – Fri

 

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year One. You should be confident in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all learners, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum. A genuine passion for primary education, excellent communication skills, and a positive, adaptable attitude are essential. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop your skills, this is an excellent opportunity to thrive in a nurturing environment.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge all pupils
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support pupil development
  • Encouraging curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in every child
  • Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team and support staff
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour, care, and classroom management

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
