Zest Education is currently recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference during the school day.
Supervise pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and playground areas
Encourage good behaviour, table manners, and positive play
Support pupils while they eat, ensuring a calm and happy dining environment
Deal with any minor incidents or accidents appropriately, following school policies
Promote inclusion and teamwork among children during playtime
Help set up and tidy away tables, chairs, and dining equipment
Work as part of the wider lunchtime team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
✅ Experience working with children (in a school, childcare, or play setting preferred)
✅ Friendly, patient, and confident in supervising groups of pupils
✅ Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
✅ A good understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
