Our schools are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, helping to inspire and support students as they develop essential mathematical skills and confidence.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you’ll play a key role in shaping students’ understanding and enjoyment of mathematics. You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons that stretch and challenge learners of all abilities while ensuring strong progress across the curriculum.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on experience).
  • Creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on students’ progress in line with school policies.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning atmosphere.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
  • Inspiring students to enjoy and succeed in Maths, fostering a positive attitude towards the subject.

This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About You

We’re looking for a teacher who is:

  • Passionate about Maths and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) status.
  • Experienced in teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management.
  • Able to engage, motivate, and inspire students of all abilities.
  • A team player with strong communication and organisational skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
