Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil at a welcoming primary school in Burton. This part-time Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children individually, especially those with SEN or additional needs.

Location: Burton
Start Date: January 2026
Hours: Part-Time, Mornings only
Salary: Competitive


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil in the classroom.

  • Assist with academic tasks, social skills, and personal development.

  • Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and resources.

  • Encourage independence, engagement, and positive behaviour.


Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally 1:1 support.

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN or additional needs is desirable.

  • Patience, empathy, and excellent teamwork skills.
