Job Description

An established and well-regarded nursery in Aston, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a committed and professional Early Years Practitioner to join the team on a part-time basis. This would be an ASAP start, working the hours of 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday to Wednesday. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is dedicated to providing high-quality care and education within the early years sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high standards of care, learning, and development in line with the EYFS framework

  • Support children through planned activities and child-led play

  • Maintain accurate observations and contribute to planning and assessments

  • Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently upheld

  • Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, and families

  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an early years setting

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
