Job Description

Are you a experienced KS2 Teacher looking for a flexible part time role? Are you looking for a better work/life balance? Well, this cross-year PPA role is part time and allows for exactly that. A school located in Telford are looking to recruit a Year 6 Teacher on a part-time basis starting April 2022 for the rest of the academic year.  The school are ideally looking for a teacher who is highly experienced in teaching to KS2 and who can commit to the school.

The school implements a well-structured, challenging curriculum that stimulates a learning environment that encourages high achievements for both pupils and staff. Behaviour throughout the school is good and you will be required to maintain this with good behaviour and classroom management. The school puts the students and the heart of everything they do and encourages them to strive to be the best versions of themselves.

As a qualified Year 6 Teacher you are responsible for presenting high quality lessons across Y6 and must ensure every student is supported and has a clear understanding of the lesson objectives. You need to be hard working and highly motivated with an eagerness to achieve the highest standards whilst maintaining good classroom management. All marking is to be complete for the following day and the classroom to be left in an appropriate manner.

Both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be considered for this role.

QTS in the UK is essential.

Pay is dependent on experience: £100-£192 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
