SEN Primary Teacher – Bedworth, Warwickshire
Start Date: JAN 2026| Role: Long-term / KS1 & KS2
Our ideal candidate:
  • Holds a QTS or PGCE with relevant teaching experience.
  • Is confident delivering the UK National Curriculum within a primary school setting.
  • Has a minimum of 90 days classroom experience (including placements).
  • Adopts a creative, compassionate approach to SEN teaching and has strong classroom management skills

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a SEN Primary Teacher, you will be expected to:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of children with special educational needs (EHCPs, learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.)
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment to promote learning and emotional wellbeing for children
  • Use a variety of differentiated teaching strategies to engage all learners
  • Collaborate effectively with SENCOs, TAs and parents/carers to ensure consistent support and progress
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress using clear, measurable goals
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging independence and confidence in a classroom setting
  • Adapt resources and classroom setup to support various sensory and physical needs for children

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
