Job Description

Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon / Contract: Long-term / Days: Mon, Weds, Fri / Hours: 8am – 3:30pm / Year: 3 / Start: January 2026

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire a love of learning
  • Working closely alongside another experienced Year 3 teacher to ensure consistency and collaboration across the curriculum
  • Planning and assessing pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents to support the school’s community ethos

Qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching
