1:1 Early Years Practitioner
Zest Education is looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Early Years Practitioner to support a young child within a welcoming early years setting in the North Birmingham area in January. This rewarding role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive through personalised support.
What we’re looking for:
Experience working within an early years environment, ideally in a 1:1 capacity.
Relevant childcare or early years qualifications (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent).
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s development.
Flexibility to work varying hours each week.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with staff, parents, and carers.
Paediatric First Aid is desirable, but not essential.
Key responsibilities:
Providing tailored 1:1 support to meet the child’s individual needs.
Assisting with daily routines, learning activities, and emotional regulation.
Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment.
Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure consistent support and progress.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
