Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Cannock, working within the SEN Provision. Starting in January 2026, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with complex and multiple special educational needs.

📚 About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant in the SEN Provision, you will:

  • Work as part of a professional team alongside teachers to organise and support teaching and learning activities for SEN pupils
  • Deliver specified work to individuals and small groups under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher
  • Provide specialist learning support for pupils identified as having learning difficulties, including complex and multiple needs
  • Support pupils across a broad range of learning situations and settings
  • Plan, organise, and undertake related duties to fully support and underpin pupils’ learning, personal, and social development
  • Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
