Office Manager

Zest Education is recruiting a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join a school based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and leadership skills who can ensure the smooth running of the school office and provide vital support to staff, pupils, and parents.

🧩 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the school office team, ensuring efficient daily operations
• Oversee administrative systems including admissions, attendance, and pupil records
• Manage correspondence including emails, phone calls, and visitor enquiries
• Support senior leaders with reports, data management, and compliance requirements
• Organise meetings, prepare documents, and take minutes where required
• Handle confidential information in line with school policies
• Ensure safeguarding, GDPR, and health and safety procedures are followed

👤 Ideal Candidate:

✅ Previous experience in office management, ideally within a school or education setting

📋 Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

💬 Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills

🖥️ Proficient with IT systems (SIMS, Arbor, or similar systems an advantage)

🤝 Professional, adaptable, and able to lead a team effectively

🛡️ Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in education

🪪 Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
