Teacher – year 5&6

Zest Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Year 5 & Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Warwick. This role is available to start as soon as possible and is offered as a full‑time position, Monday to Friday, on a long‑term contract. You will be responsible for teaching pupils in upper Key Stage 2, planning and delivering engaging lessons that prepare them for the transition to secondary school. Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and SLD, you will ensure they are challenged academically while also supported socially and emotionally.

As a Year 5 & Year 6 Teacher, you will create a stimulating classroom environment, differentiate lessons to meet individual needs, and collaborate with teaching assistants and SENCOs to provide effective support. You will monitor progress, contribute to education plans, and implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and confidence. Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues will be central to your role in supporting holistic development.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children in upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 and Year 6).
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and strategies for differentiation.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and SLD.
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
