Qualified Teaching Assistant

Zest Education is recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a full‑time, long‑term role running from ASAP until September 2026. The school is looking for someone who can bring energy, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required.
• Work 1:1 or with small groups to support learning and progress.
• Assist the class teacher with daily routines, preparation, and activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence.
• Support pupils with SEND where needed.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification is preferred, but Level 2 will be considered.
• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is essential.
• SEND experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• A proactive, patient, and supportive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
