Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a well-established primary school in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA looking to take on additional responsibility and support teaching across the school.
As an HLTA, you will deliver planned lessons, lead small group work, and provide targeted interventions to ensure pupils make excellent progress. You will also contribute to the overall school ethos and support the professional development of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons in the absence of class teachers.
Support groups and individual pupils with targeted interventions.
Assist with planning, assessment, and curriculum development alongside teaching staff.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
HLTA status or equivalent recognized qualification.
Proven experience working across primary year groups.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to supporting children’s academic and personal development.
