A rapidly improving secondary school on the outskirts of Birmingham City centre are recruiting for a full time English teacher to join their team from Easter 2022 to continue until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate needs to be confident in teaching and delivering English across all key stages, including KS5. You will need to be consistent in managing behaviour to a high level and be able to adapt your teaching for the needs of individual students.
The school caters for a broad range of pupils and is continually improving with academic and attainment levels reflecting this across all year groups. The school benefits from a dedicated team of strong teachers and staff who are continually looking to recruit individuals who can contribute to the schools’ successes.
This is a full-time position, continuing until the end of the academic year with a view to go permanent from September 2022. Full planning and assessing responsibilities will be expected.
The school has excellent transport links from the surrounding areas and has ample onsite parking for all staff.
Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
