Unqualified Teacher

A supportive and forward‑thinking school in Rugby is looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with previous teaching or TA experience who is confident leading a class, delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining a positive, structured learning environment. You’ll be working closely with teaching staff to support pupils across the curriculum, manage behaviour effectively and help create a classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated, supported and ready to learn.

Requirements

• Teaching or TA experience is essential
• Confident leading a classroom and delivering set work
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Good communication and teamwork
• Reliable, proactive and able to use initiative
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Day‑to‑day duties

• Delivering pre‑planned lessons across the school
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with their learning and engagement
• Working closely with teachers and support staff
• Providing feedback on pupil progress
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive school culture
