Part-Time Teaching Assistant

A highly regarded Outstanding Ofsted‑rated primary school in Rugby is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Years 3 and 4. This part‑time role involves working across the classroom, supporting learning activities, helping pupils stay engaged, and contributing to a positive, inclusive environment. Requirements

• Previous TA or school‑based experience
• Confident supporting pupils across KS2
• Ability to work flexibly across Year 3 and Year 4
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Calm, positive and proactive approach
• Ability to follow teacher direction and use initiative
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Day‑to‑day duties

• Supporting pupils across Years 3 & 4 during lessons
• Assisting with small‑group activities and interventions
• Helping pupils stay focused, confident and engaged
• Supporting literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum tasks
• Working closely with class teachers and support staff
• Contributing to a warm, inclusive and well‑organised classroom
